Cheryl Hill, Owner
Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH. She was a Restaurant Manager, Fitness Center Director and the Business Manager for a local preschool before opening Hill’s Home Preschool in March 2008.

Her experience in food, fitness and business management makes her uniquely qualified to run childcare programs, which offer a diverse selection of enrichment programs tailored to help shape the minds of children ages two to nine. Cheryl often assists in the classroom with the children and is CPR and First Aid certified.

She is active in the community and is a member of the Barrington Chamber of Commerce and the area Moms Meetup Group.

Leslie Forbes, Lead Teacher & Site Director of Club Kidz
Leslie brings with her a wealth of experience having taught in Maine and New Hampshire for the last 15 years. She has taught children ages infant to school age. Teaching is Leslie’s passion; she enjoys watching children grow and teaching them through play. Currently, she is continuing her education in Child Development through Granite State College.

Leslie resides in Rochester, New Hampshire with her husband and two children.

Becky Santos, Assistant Preschool Teacher, Hill’s Home Preschool
Becky began her career as an educator five years ago as a substitute teacher and a paraprofessional at Barrington Elementary School.

Becky holds an Associate’s of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Kaplan University. Currently, she is involved in developing and administering a childcare and education program through Granite State College. At the conclusion of the class, Becky will be qualified as a Director. In addition, Becky is also working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Psychology through Kaplan University.

Becky is certified in CPR and First Aid, and is an active member of the community. She is a member of the Middle School Drama Club Parent’s Committee, and has been a Girl Scout Leader in town for the last six years. She also volunteered to help build the community playground.

Becky resides in Barrington with her husband, daughter, and three rescued Pug dogs.

Leigh Hislop, Lead Preschool Teacher/Director, Hill’s Home Preschool
Leigh graduated in 2006 from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Childhood Studies and holds a K-8 teaching certificate with the state of New Hampshire.

After graduating from PSU, Leigh worked at Barrington Elementary School for two years as a Child Specific Paraprofessional and a Title I Tutor.  She started working at Hill’s Home Preschool in May of 2008 as the Lead Afterschool Teacher where she also developed and taught the past two summer programs. In September of 2009, Leigh took on the role of full-time Lead Preschool Teacher/Director at Hill’s Home Preschool.

She resides in Somersworth, NH with her husband, Chris, and her dog, Chloe.
